How can I force client contacts to  replicate with their mail file.
I have been able to "enable syncronization" via Policy but, how can I force the actual replication itself without user interaction

We are running Domino 9.1 for Windows

Not sure about domino, I have never used it but something similar to this should be.

You could enable Replicate when the user starts the client and/or Replicate when Notes ends.
Acronis in Gartner 2019 MQ for datacenter backup

It is an honor to be featured in Gartner 2019 Magic Quadrant for Datacenter Backup and Recovery Solutions. Gartner’s MQ sets a high standard and earning a place on their grid is a great affirmation that Acronis is delivering on our mission to protect all data, apps, and systems.

Thanks for responding Sjef , as I know you are an expert in Lotus Domino
I was able to enable it via policy, but is there a way to force the execution via policy without user intervention?

AFAIK there is no direct way to immediately replicate a database via a policy. So you say that even logout and login are out? These events are inevitable, for some user must be there, since it's not possible to replicate Notes databases without a user on the system. There is no method to send some signal to a Notes client to do something  unless previously enabled, e.g. via a standard policy option or by letting the Notes client "discover" some sort of "event" and act upon it, e.g. an incoming mail and a mail agent (local), or some other database-related event and a local agent. The essence is that the Notes client is not a server.

What exactly do you want to accomplish? How much user intervention might you allow to get it done, even without him/her knowing it?

Thank you Sjef I have decided to just go to our various departments and manually sync the contacts and calandars to the server.

I ended up going to each workstation and  running the replication as I could not trust users to do it themselves.
