I have three brother printers that can see my night hawk wireless with no issue.  I can not, however, see my SSID associated with my ubiquity lite AP.

I have updated the firmware on the APs AND the printer but still can not see the SSID.

Im not sure what to look for next.

Thoughts??

Check the capabilities of BOTH the printer and the Ubuitiy. If one is only 802.11g 2.4GHz and the other is 802.11ac on 5GHz, of course they will never connect. One has to go to a lower more compatible setting.

In some cases (happens very very incidentally), even though it should work together, a conflict in the chipset of both sides, will prevent it from connecting, even in the most compatible mode. In that case, it's hardware related, and you won't have a solution (other than changing the AP to another brand, or model nr with different chipset)
