Access applications without ActiveX and API calls should work just fine.
If you have BE other than Access you will need to check the ODBC driver to match the bitness.
As John says, if you are not using APIs and other third party controls you are fine. It will simply recompile.

If you are using API you need to make sure they are declared properly to support both 32 and 64bit, and also if you are deploying to earlier versions than 2010, there is some extra care to be taken regarding the LongPtr datatype and PtrSafe keyword.

The user needs to have the correct driver installed (if using ODBC for linked tables), but that is really the same issues regardless of whether you are using 32 or 64 bit. The driver must match the bitness of your OFFICE.
