Surface Laptop 2 will not display on dual external monitors when connected to Surface Dock For Business

I have a client who has a Surface Laptop 2 and two HP Monitors. She wanted to connect the monitors to her Surface Laptop 2. So I recommended the Surface Dock for Business which I have for my Surface Pro 6.

She has all the cables and adapters for the dock & monitors. But when she attaches the dock cable to her Surface Laptop 2 both monitors display that there is no signal. The Surface Laptop is getting power from the dock and if we connect keyboard & mouse via USB they both work.

If I attached my Surface Pro 6 to the same dock both monitors get signal.

I have tried all Resolution and related settings but when her Surface Lattop 2 is connected nothing.

The Dock supports the Surface Laptop 2 so not sure what is happening or what to try.

Any ideas?
TIA

Could be the display driver issue with Surface
have you updated windows 10 to 1909 or 1903 recently?
Windows 10 uses generic display driver,
go to device manager - right click the display adapter and update it and try connecting the monitors.

Press Windows Key and P together and choose extend display.

Hi Kesavan

I'm pretty sure its not the Dock because, as per hte question
If I attached my Surface Pro 6 to the same dock both monitors get signal.

I do not have handons the unit currently but I know its on Microsoft Windows 10 Home 10.0.18362 - 1903

I will arrange remote session with user and try your suggestions.
