Installing Windows Server on VMware machine

How can I install Windows Server on a machine running ESXi 6.7? I have the software on a USB drive but I cannot boot from that drive. The server does not have a CD-ROM drive and I cannot put the ISO file on the datastore since that's on the hard drive

Thanks

Using the ISO in the datastore is the straight forward way. As Andrew provided.

Using USB, you have to time, to direct the VM to boot using the USB.

Escape, or f12 to get the boot promot during VM startup to use the USB connected device to boot from.

The ISO is also faster ....
