I would like to automate Disk2VHD using a script, perhaps Powershell or Batch, or VBS.
Is this possible?
I would like to automate this so that it saves that latest copy of my computer every night.

You can use command line mode, so you should be able to write a batch file, and run from a scheduler

Thanks Andrew, however I don't want to convert all volumes this syntax only permits to convert everything.
My total volumes are too large to copy everything over.

I'm afraid that's beyond the function of Disk2VHD, and most tools are interactive.

I would look at backup and restore tools, e.g. Windows backup or Veeam Free Agent.

Thanks you.
Veeam free agent however does not backup to VHDX.

No it does not, but it will give you a backup to restore and fetch files from.

Why do you want a VDHX ?
