One Drive Choose folders to sync on one laptop

I just bought a second computer. I noticed that my OneDrive folders are there but the files haven't synced. I only want a few of my folders to sync on this computer. What is the best way to go about this?

Onedrive you can set which folders you want to sync on your computer.

  1. Select the white or blue OneDrive cloud icon in the Windows taskbar notification area.
  2. Select More > Settings.
  3. Select the Account tab, and select Choose folders.
  4. In the Sync your OneDrive files to this PC dialog box, uncheck any folders you don't want to sync to your computer and select OK.
