If you have not already done so, you will need to create the search service.
In central admin, go to 'Configuration Wizard'. That is found in the far left navigation, should be the button or link on the bottom. That will run and when the page opens you will see several Service Applications can add. If search is unchecked, check the box and run the wizard. That should set up search for you.
If the box is checked, search should be visible also in Central Admin.

Walter,
I discovered that late last night on how to get the search service I needed to create one and I did.
I am having some other errors displaying but I am going to clear the logs and start from today to see what happens.
I had to remove the distributed cache service to change the account that was assigned it had too many privilege's
Will post another question if events pop up again.
Thank you for your help

Really glad that helped. Have a great holidays.
Is either node configured with min role to be search. In otherwords, is node two set as 'AppServer + Search' minrole.
And node one should be 'Frontend + Distributed Cache' min role.
Let me know if that is the way they are set up.
Thanks,
