VDSL2 Bridging to Firewall
Hi Guys,
My connection is FTTC VDSL2 and in arrives fisically from the wall with rj11 cable.
I want to set a VM PFsense for firewall and vpn purposes.
I figured that the fisical architecture is follow
|WALL|----RJ11 CABLE---->VDSL2 MODEM---->RJ45 CABLE---->FIREWALL
-VDSL2 Modem must be set on Bridging mode
-Firewall WAN port must be configure (PPPoE, username and password ecc..)
It's correct?
Thanks

Can you explain me why VDSL router must be configured in PPPoA?
Thanks!
