USB printer not printing from server through rdp

hi.

got a USB printer connected to widnows10 computer. printer works fine. I wanted to print from a 2012 server through rdp

steps I did:
1- enabled printers in rdp local resource option
2- added the printer driver pcl6 in server
so when I rdp to the server, I can see the printer in the control panel- printer list. but if I print from server, it’s not printing

print from local computer it’s working. what am I missing or did wrong ? why it’s not printing from server through rdp

Depends on the printer, does it support remote printing?
Many home printers rely on the local PC to process the print job, these can't be used via RDP
If it's on this list it should be possible to configure it. It not on the list it probably won't work.
