Issue with searching a non mapped (unc) network drive via windows explorer in windows 10 1909.

In the past, this client was able to search (via windows explorer) by going to the network folder they wanted (they do not use mapped drives) and then typing in the search box in explorer to find the file they were looking for. We replaced their old computers with new boxes and the latest version of windows 10 is not allowing them to even type into the search box. If you click on the search box, the cursor will not even go into the box.

Is there something that needs to be changed / adjusted to restore this functionality?

Thanks for the assistance with this.

You didn't say if they could "browse" the folders in question.
The most likely cause is that they don't have permissions.
Is this a peer-to-peer or domain network?

ASKER
Yes, they can browser the folders fine. This is a domain network.
