JSE Virus
Hello,
Two of our network drive (server 2008 R2) has been encrypted by a crypto virus. all exel files have now the JSE extension.
we have restored the files but we are afraid of having this situation again
Can you advice us on how to avoid .jse files?

How was it downloaded and executed in your business, do you tell users not to execute and download, or open email attachments ?

the users don't know the content of attached

and therefore should be advised accordingly of not opening any attachments!
I think you need to test a new AV, and come with with User Education training, and email scanning of attachments.

Do you know an anti virus can email scanning of attachments before downloaded... or other SEP?
