Blazor Future

rflorencio used Ask the Experts™
I have already done some webform development, however I am thinking of developing a new project and I think it makes no sense to use a technology that I think is becoming obsolete.
As I usually develop in .NET I thought about using Blazor, since I don't have many skills in java framework either.
It makes sense to choose blazor, or it would be better to choose core controls or another java framework. Will blazor succeed?

best regards

Hi rflorencio,

As you already know C#, I think you can go after both Asp.Net Core and Blazor. I am currently not using it for any mainstream project but I have been following Blazor from very early release and while I have no concrete explanation to you(There are many reasons but those are not time tested just yet), in my gut I think, Blazor is going to rock the world soon (It has already begun - since last year January, I am seeing traction in Blazor's adoption).

For that matter, any decent Web Assembly framework will be really good to have in your arsenal very soon.

Blazor has a great future because it allows you to run the entire application in the browser
So definitely acquire blazor skills
