Gmail keeps switching Google Accounts when sending mail from iPhone
The user has two email accounts, which I'll call xuser@gmail.com - personal, and xothername@xcompany.com
The company account is hosted by Google.
Just a few days ago, for unknown reasons, all email from their personal account started being sent from the company account instead.
They called Apple, which tried a few things, and then said it was a Google problem.
I had them delete all their email accounts from their iPhone, power off the iPhone, and then set up their personal account on the iPhone again.
They can receive email sent to their personal account, but sent email is still being sent from the company account.
I didn't yet have them "Reset All Settings" on the iPhone.
What might have caused this, and how might it be corrected?
Thanks.

This does not sound like the phone setting has anything to do with it. Is the company email account also on gmail? It's possible that they set up the company mail to take over their personal mail account. Gmail, and other mail services, allows you to use one master account to take control of other accounts and have a single mailbox to manage all the emali.

I had them send me an email.
Their email address I have shortened to mjr@gmail.com for privacy.
Their company address I have shortened to mj@utn.org
I have attached a header file with these addresses highlighted.
The From: Address is the company address
Everywhere else it's the personal address mjr@gmail.com
Where would the from address have been changed.
Here are some lines that I found

Double check which outgoing SMTP service the personal account is using. Potentially within the nail account settings, the same company outgoing SMTP account is being used.
If you send an email mj@utn.org
Does it end up in the mjr@gmail.com inbox?

I had them sign into their personal google account from a web browser. They found and changed the FROM address.
Then I had them send me an email from their phone at noon. It arrived with the correct FROM address.
However, they had sent 2 emails 20 minutes before which had the wrong FROM address.
Is there a latency before Google account changes are put into effect?

The google web account is one thing, the phone settings I do not blieve follow unless they use the GMAIl app.
i.e. if they use Mail on the phone, the settings there are independent of the GMAil settings....

The user called Apple, and the tech on the phone, after running their email test procedures, told the user that the problem existed at Google. Deleting the email account from the iPhone, and then reentering the account, didn't stop the problem.

If you changed the FROM address, the change is immediate on both the web and iPhone?
I do not believe a personal gmail account can be subordinated in a way you describe where the personal gets auto flipped to g-suite type......
Is the issue relates to new email messages or replies?
Usually, the from sender lets the user choose which account they want to use.
