X1 - 184.X.X.X is our WAN interface.  This is an external port scan, correct?  I like to eliminate this low profile notification.

I know where to go to view alerts and notifications.  I just want to confirm I’m reading this alert correctly.  it looks this port scan is from external web address and the likelihood of me getting port scans to stop is zero.  so disabling the alert is my best option, correct?
I can't tell you what is right for you or your environment, but I personally disable email alerts for port scans but leave the logging active.

Port scans occur for multiple different reasons and are for the most part normal, while others are done just to see if there's any interesting ports open which may lead to a way in.

yeah, I agree.  just confirming it’s external IP.  not sure why someone told me it was a private IP address
It's an external IP.

Somebody was likely on the website

That page includes instructions on how to remove email notifications - it's not just about how to access the notifications.
