Ordered an item from amazon and it did not arrive due to shipping damage.  Cannot figure out how to get a refund.

I ordered a car seat from amazon and I received a message that it was damaged during delivery and had to be returned to the shipper.  That is the last correspondence I received.  I have not been refunded my money on credit card or told that a replacement is coming.  It's been 2 weeks.  I have been on amazon.com and looked at getting a refund, but the choices for a refund do not exactly say that the item was damaged in shipping and needed to be returned to shipper.  The options are damaged when arrived, or changed mind, or something else that would indicated I would need to return the item.  Well, I don't have the item.  Any ideas on how I would go about resolving this?

Hello, when you are on Your Orders page is the button to "Return or replace items" there next to the item? If you click on that on the next screen are you able to click the check box and then choose "Product and shipping box both damaged"?

It sounds like you are past that process however, so on the Your Orders page is there a button that says "Leave seller feedback" to the right of the item? If the item was Fulfilled by Amazon there should be a button to Contact Amazon if there was a problem with delivery.

You can also leave a rating and feedback for the seller on that page. Many resellers on Amazon try to maintain a high rating so you can use that form to get in touch.
