Whatsup Wifi - Send and receiving messages are very slow
Hi all,
I have wifi at work which and it is for guest users. it works fine with laptops and other devices. The only App on the mobile phone that is very slow is Whatsup.
I tested with our new App for Microsoft Teams and it works fine. So the issue here is only Whatsup App. My question is:
How can I make this Whatsup App work faster?
Can you help?

Thats an option, but is this what you want?
Test with opening the ports and it should work.

Iamthecreator's suggestion should help. Try that first, and let us know what is happening. Also, are you using a web proxy of any sort?
Do you think that this would be a good idea for user to turn off the Wifi and use their mobile data to connect to Whatsup fast? From a technical standpoint, that is a workaround, not a solution. The real question is whether you even want to allow Whatsapp. If not, then go ahead and block it. If so, then you need to actually solve the issue.

Thanks for your advice. I wont open or change any port due to a financial company. Security is a must. If users are not happy they can turn off their WiFi and use their subscription provider. Anyway, it still working. It is just a bit slow.
Anyway, thanks for your advise.
Best regards,
