asked on

Roaming Profile not Copying Desktop Items.

I have enabled Roaming Profile via the Domain GP and each of my users now have their own Roaming Profile folder on the share I designated when setting up the GP Policy. We have just had one user log onto their office-based PC which has many Files/Folder etc on the desktop. He has bought his laptop in today and logged on to it whilst connected to the network but the items which are on his office-based PC Desktop are not appearing on his laptop. Ive asked him to log out/in on both devices but its not made any difference.

The server is Windows 2008 R2 and the client PC/Laptop are both Windows 10.

Wondering if I missing something here?

Thanks

Have you assigned the group policy to the OU in which the laptop resides?

It could be you only applied it to the Desktops OU...

Which version of Windows 10 is on the desktop, and which version is on the laptop?
Thank you Alex - running GPupdate as fixed the issue.
