VMWARE UPGRADE - 5.5 TO 6.5
Upgrade VMWARE 5.5 to 6.5
I need to install 2019 Windows Server / Looks like upgrading the vm environment to get 2016 or later as an option.
I am assuming based on what I can tell it is a direct upgrade - ( 5.5 -> 6.5 )
Spin the cd - select upgrade - preserve the settings - ....
thanks

That is correct, but you'll need to upgrade to 6.0 first, and then 6.5 or 6.7.
Also check your hardware is supported for 6.5.
