Hi

I want to build a form for editing a table that has three columns. An AutoNumber column
as well as two text columns. What is the quickest way to build a form that can be used tp
edit this as well as simply import an Excel file to populate it?
Thanks

How about linking an Excel spreadsheet and work with it as the Form Recordset

I would link  the Excel file, then run an append query to copy two cells of the rows to the table for the form.
This table should have an AutoNumber ID as its first field.

Now, bind your form to that table, and you can edit the records.

As Gus suggested, you will need to import the data to edit it.  Microsoft got sued more than 20 years ago and lost the lawsuit to a person who claimed to have invented the technology.  As a result, tables linked to Excel are NOT updateable.  It's a shame but it is what it is.
