Hello....
One of the VMWare ESXi servers we have stopped working. We restarted the server and then the attached message appear.
What exactly should I do to let the server working again

Nothing.... just the electricity was down so the server restarted.
The server was working perfectly

see if the following KB helps you...

Press Shift-O at ESXi Boot

Enter In the boot option, type
overrideDuplicateImageDetection

Open in new window

and press Enter

Maybe something has changed in the BIOS after power failure and now the server is detecting two installations!

 ESX host using local hard desk for booting.
No cluster ESX hosts

Interesting article from VMware, they miss the obvious solution of removing one or other media by unplugging it.
