MS Access Query not visible from Excel

I am trying to import data from an MS Access query into Excel. I swear that query was visible from Excel.

I recently made some changes to the query and it runs fine within MS Access. But that query is no longer visible from Excel (it is not in the list of queries I can import).

What might have happened?

My guess is that your excel file is pointing to a different copy of the access file.
You could check your Connections on the Excel Data Tab to see what the Access connection is/was.  You could also re-establish a new connection to the Access query by going to Data>From Access>(Find Access DB on your computer/network)>Select Query from Access tables/queries, and reimport or establish a connection.

Anders, I checked: I only have one copy of the access file. So I could not be pointing to the wrong copy.

Tom, I am indeed trying to build a new connection. I am able to build the connection to most queries, but the query I am really interested in, is no longer visible from Excel.
Does the query reside in the Access DB?
Excel cannot "see" action queries and it may not be able to "see" queries that reference forms for parameters.  What change did you recently make to the query?
Tom, the link you provided does contain the correct root cause. I  added the nz function to the query and since then it became invisible to Excel.
You coulf try to replace the nz with an iff statement
