Visual Studio program just stops working

I have 3 c# programs using Visual Studio 2009. Programs are installed using Installawere X10. The programs were installed on a College network previously and these are the updated versions. All three install and work on my working computer and my two virgin computers.
One of the programs installs and functions properly on the College system, while the other two install, but when they run, a message states "The program has stopped working". I remove the older versions before the install. I have recompiled and then recreated the install program several times. I thought the College may have a firewall stopping the programs, but one works perfectly.
This is really frustrating because I have a problem that I can not reproduce on my systems.

Any ideas and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You probably have a "details" button. Have you checked it? Any new dependencies in the latest build? Changed the Targeted platform?

BTW, there is surely a typo. There is no such thing as VS 2009.

The target platform is the same (x86). There are new controls, but all programs are using the same versions. I did not see the "details" button.

the new controls are from a third party?

can you show a screenshot of your error dialog?

Controls are from DevExpress, Have been using them for years. Made sure all the dlls were using the same version.
Will get a screenshot tomorrow when I return to the school
