Disable updates for Office 365 group

I have created an office 365 group (and with that I mean the O365 group type) to allow a customer to indicate certain calendar entries that are relevant for everyone. The default behanviour is that when a new entry is created in there that all members are sent an email. Is there a way I can change this behaviour.

I found the setting to disable the welcome message. But how do I stop it from sending updates on every new update that is made?

Each user can "unsubscribe" from the Group in order to stop receiving messages directly in Inbox. Or you as the admin can do this via

Remove-UnifiedGroupLinks groupname -LinkType Subscriber -Links member

Vasil,

The issue doesn't seem to be solved. I removed all members from Subscribers. But still we get messages when a nex calendar entry is created in the calendar that is associated with the group. The strange thing is also I was not in the list of subscribers and still I get all the notifications for all calendar updates as an email.

Do you know how we can disable all message notifications for all members when a new calendar entry is created?

Thanks

Try the following: go to OWA, select the group in question, click the ... button, Settings, select the Don't receive any group messages value.

OK, that might be an option that will work. No way to disable this globally as an admin for all users?

The cmdlet I mentioned above should do it... apparently it doesnt affect calendar notifications though. I seem to recall now there was a separate Link type for those, EventSubscribers, but that value is not accepted by the cmdlet.
