Problems with Outlook Anywhere 2010 and DNS

We are having a DNS issue with Outlook Anywhere (2010) that I can not explain. We run and Exchange 2010 on the backend.

At first we were having a few users who were unable to connect via OA while at home. Then it became a widespread problem. We got around the problem by manually putting the companies pri and sec DNS servers in along with Googles 8.8.8.8 DNS as a third and this worked. Normally, the get their DNS automatically. We have since found out that doing this blocks all Internet access from some hotels when they are on the road.

The only thing that I can think of is that ISP's are doing something or there was a change in Win10 somewhere.

Help?

Have you properly setup the Exchange Edge Transport server?

Perhaps your DNS provider has an issue routing to some networks ?

I would suggest checking the output from nslookup with your autodiscover host and your external hostname from a working external user with a non working external user.

Jackie, It's working for some and gradually people are not able to get iot to work but it's becoming more and more people. So it was working fine and it's hard to test since it still works for me at home but not at some others home.

ArneLovious, I will try this. Some of the non working entities do not add up though. I have people that run AT&T and Spectrum it's not working on while I also use AT&T at my house and it works but I will check.
While not completely substantiated, this is an ISP issue with AT&T. I found that those using UVerse (and not regular ATT&T Internet) were having this issue but I dont know the why. Spectrum does not have this issue either.
