Intermittent RDP issues
Hi
We have RDP server with 30 users logging . Recently we were having intermittent issues RDP into a server. Once we restart server everything works fine. But the issue been consistent and causing problems. We see a lot of 802 1306 as well as 1296 , 24584 error messages in event log. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Windows 2016 server with 30 users licenses. Server was setup 2 years ago with RDP and it been working without any issues. The issue stated month ago. We notice problems every 2 days. It Works fine but suddenly its slows down and stop working. Once we reboot server everything back online . we are users connecting different states through out US. I hope this helps
Is the server accessable to the public internet?

yes.
It is not recommended to have your server exposed on the internet. The errors you are seeing could be hacking attacks, which could also be causing the performance hits.
If it is possible to test internally, disconnect the server from the internet and see if the problem goes away.

When you are noticing the errors on the server, are you looking at the system resources utilized? Are there a bunch of sessions that never closed out? (Users tend to close out the window rather than actually log off)
