Chrome on Windows 10

Chrome generates an unhappy icon and cannot find site error message.   I have tried uninstalling and downloading the latest version of Chrome.   I have rebooted several times.  It use to work.
Not sure what caused it.  There may have been an update.  Windows 10 has the most recent update.

does edge or ie work properly?

ping google.com work?

tracert yahoo.com work?

Here some workaround:

1.Rename "chrome.exe" to "google chrome.exe" in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application
2. Right click Task bar, Task manager - Process - Choose google chrome and end task (for all the occurrence)

3. At the top-right Chrome window (3 dot button), click More More and then New Incognito window.
At the top-right, click More More and then More tools and then Clear browsing data.
Next to 'Time range', select All time.
Select Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data. Deselect the other types of data.
Click Clear data.

Thank you. Not sure why but putting in "google chrome.exe" worked. Maybe a firewall issue  All other browsers worked, Ping and tracert worked.  I did everything else other people suggested.    Thank you all so much.
