Migration from G Suite and Go daddy backspace email to 365 business

Hi,
I need to move around 6 clients G suite to 365 Business and the rest from Go daddy Workspace email to 365 Business.

For the small amount of clients can I do the following?

1. Setup 365 Business and add users
2. Verify Domain
3. Export data from outlook to PST file
4. Change MX to point at 365
5. Reimport data from PST to outlook?
6. Cancel Subscription with Gsuite and Go daddy

Or do I need to use a migration tool ?

https://github.com/imapsync/imapsync provides a simple mechanism for this.

It's a bit terse to work with.

It's terseness is made up for by it's flexibility.

This tool is backing store agnostic, so no consideration if your using Exchange or Dovecot or Gmail.

So long at all servers involve speak IMAP4, this tool works well.

If old mailboxes aren't that big (500.000 items max), Office 365 has a built-in IMAP migration tool.

Let it run over the weekend, and the only thing needed to transfer to PST are calendar, contacts, notes, etc

Copying back PST over slow internet is error prone, and there's no resume function, making it extremely difficult to do manually.
