We have a VM host with an 18TB VMFS drive. The VM is complaining that it needs chkdisk run on that volume and it's causing problems. Would throwing more CPU at this VM allow the fdisk operation to complete faster?

Would more CPU or Memory Speed a Chkdsk for VMFS
