How do I find the product version for O365 Build numbers?

Need to roll back O365 to an earlier build. I know I need to use the ODT, but the config.xml needs me to enter the target (product) version, but all online lists seem to just show build numbers.

If you open, say Excel,

File->Account->About Excel

You'll get a pop-up with XX.X.XXXX.XXXX,  where the first 2 XX are your version.  That  said, O365 is version 16.

Thanks for the prompt response. So you're saying it always starts with 16.0. then the last 2 XXXXX.XXXXX are the build versions?

Yes.

AA.B.XXXX.YYYY

AA.B = Application.Version in the VBA Windows

XXXX.YYYY is what MS refers to as the build.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office365-proplus-by-date?redirectSourcePath=%252fen-us%252farticle%252fVersion-and-build-numbers-of-update-channel-releases-ae942449-1fca-4484-898b-a933ea23def7

That said, even within MS the terms change meaning and names depending on the reference.

In VBA, Application.Build will return XXXX alone.

It's all a mess and confusing to say the least.
