Excel 2016: Need to Left-Align Y Axis of Gantt Chart

I am creating a Gantt chart in Excel 2016.  It is working great, but the Y-axis labels are right aligned.  I need to make them left aligned but not finding a way to do that.  I saw a note online about accessing the chart properties and turning off the "truncate label" command, but I am not finding a way to access the properties.  I either need to know how to access the properties or find another way to left align the Y axis.

Can you post a sample excel file for experimenting?

Sure.  Here is a portion of the larger Gantt chart I have been working on.  You can see how the Y-axis labels are right aligned.

Sorry, could not find a direct method to do this. The only way I can imagine is to use VBA to write over the existing axis labels in the way you want and you might have to let the VBA run every time a change is made to any part of the chart. This has many variables and I cannot foresee all of them. I have been successful in doing it for the particular situation you have presented but cannot guarantee that it would work in all scenarios.

I have added hyphens to the labels to improve visibility. You may remove them.

This chart is updated automatically everytime a change is made to the worksheet cells.

I cannot close the quiestion; you will have to do it.

You should select " This is the solution" under the solution I provided and complete the process.
