Hi Team, We have few windows 2012 servers which are newly added to WSUS server and we observed that there are few updated which got downloaded and it is throwing a pop with the close and install button. Is there an option to disabled this pop up from all uses so that no one accidentally click on the install button.
Since you have a wsus server and presumably pushing settings through GPO, on the server GPO, change/set the option that only administrative users are notified of pending updates.

For now to stop the pop up for all the users, i had to enable "Remove access to use all Windows Update feature - 0 - Do not show any notification" under user configuration in Group policy. This worked but even the server administrator cannot proceed with installation of the patch, so at the time of patching schedule, this needs to be disabled.

You removed all.
Within the Windows update section, you can lit notifications to admin's.
Recheck the GPO if not mistaken the formulation of the option deals with disable notification to non-admin users.
