Printers Automatically adding in Windows 10

We are having an issue where Windows 10 machines are automatically adding printers from a print server. I am not sure why this is happening or how to prevent this. I have tried going into "Advanced sharing settings" -> Private -> Network Discovery -> and unchecking "Turn on automatic setup of network connected devices"

Any ideas I can try?

Try All Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners >
Uncheck 'Let Windows manage my default printer

This seems to stop the auto-creation of available printers for us on our Windows 10 virtual desktops.

You need to Uncheck the box that saye:

“turn on automatic setup of network connected devices”

@omgang: That is already off, we have a GPO that stops Windows from setting the default printer

Do you have a GPO that is mapping printers and setting them as default? Even if you 'think' you don't, I would start by running a RSOP (or GPResult /R to see the applied GPO's) in an elevated command prompt on one of the affected machines. This should give you a good idea.

If you go to: User Configuration > Preferences > Control Panel Settings > Printers - see if there are any printers in there with the default printers checked. This is usually the culprit.

@Roy Bene: We do have a logon script that is adding a single printer and setting it to default. The printers it is adding seem random. We are pushing out some printers by GPO but not to this user or OU.
