How to stop unwanted Twits appear in my Twitter apps
Hi Experts,
I keep getting tweets of people I don’t want. Specifically gamers or video creators; this is every other day. What I do is mute the persons and mute the conversation. How did this start? I don’t remember ever liking any of these users? Or don’t remember hovering over any of these conversations.
How can I stop receiving tweets from these type of gaming or videos stuff ?

Either it's from your followed accounts or a sponsored tweet. I don't think there is anything you can do.

How do I see what is in my followed accounts and sponsored account?
Unless you follow the user or it is a sponsored advert above the message will be an explanation of why you're seeing it "xxxx liked this" etc.
I follow around 400 game publishers and developers and all my followers will see their tweets that I 'Like' or 'Retweet' but they won't get to see every Tweet I see.
If this has just started it will be one of your recent "Follows" check their timeline to see if they are the culprit and then you might need to unfollow just a couple of users to get rid of these.

You can view your followed accounts by going to https://twitter.com/USERNAME/following where USERNAME is your user name. If you are on the app or on the browser you can click your avatar and click the XXXX Following to see who you are following.
All that stuff you see that is not from accounts you follow is generated by Twitters algorithm to give you more content to increase engagement. You can try to filter some of this by clicking the down carrot ( '<' symbol but pointing down) and selecting "Not interested in this" or muting or blocking those accounts.

I don't use the browser, rather the iPhone apps. How do I do this in the apps?

Thanx! Work! (it was lots of work but got it)
Glad to help! It seems like all the social media companies really bury where they are tracking your information.
An additional follow up.In case any iPhone user wanted to clear their cache in twitter, there's a good article for it. It also guides you through some other menus that can be of use.
