hi. I want to display a particular image on the lock screens of users computers. can this be achieved in group policy. also, can it copy the image over to the user’s local hard drive, so that it displays when they are off site?

Yes, You can accomplish this through GPO.

As far as I know, this image will get cached locally while applying for the first time. but needs to be tested to confirm.

HI Shabarinath, thank you, I did try that, but the users are not getting the change, even thought I have run gpupdate /force on both the server and the client side.


But strangely, the domain controller is reflecting the change!


Can you please help or advise how to get this out to clients?

I note that the Group policy itself states: "Note: This setting only applies to Enterprise, Education, and Server SKUs."


Our users are using Windows 10 Pro, not enterprise.


And that might explain why it is working on the domain controller, as it is a Server SKU?

Hello - can anyone please confirm if this simple setting is really only available if users have Windows 10 Enterprise, and not if they are on Windows 10 Pro?
