Collecting BITCOIN with WordPress

My client has a WordPress website and was using CoinBase to collect BitCoin. Unfortunately there is a problem with coinbase and we need a different solution. If the solution can also work with WooCommerce that would be great, but at least something so that a donor can click a button and donate to my client.

Thank you.

Bitpay.com was one of the first successful businesses in the Bitcoin community, and still appears to be running.

It looks like there's a WooCommerce plugin for integrating with their services:

To accept anonymous donations, you can also just publish a Bitcoin receiving address.

Thank you. I did some quick research on bitpay, and most of the reviews said "stay away!"

I posted on a facebook forum, and the responses there were similar: services which either stopped accepting bitcoins, or which had horrific reviews.

Does an acceptable one-stop service exist?

Is your client wanting to have the received bitcoins automatically sold for US dollars or another currency, or do they just want to collect the bitcoins in a wallet?

They have a few donors every now and then who want to donate bit coins. The client does not want bitcoins and wants to immediately convert them to dollars.

This could be an option: https://gourl.io/bitcoin-payments-woocommerce.html

There's a description here about an autosell feature that some exchanges offer, so that received cryptocurrency can be automatically forwarded to an exchange and sold.

I haven't investigated the reputation of the tool.

Thank you. I do not know what my client wants to do now, but I have forwarded this information to him and leave it in his hands.
