The SystemConfigurationCheck_Report.htm
Shows all good, with no issues in it.

Any advice would be great.
I want to test this out first on this system, before tackling it on my 2 live SQL servers.

Why not install SQL server along side, then ......

Are your servers virtual?
If VMs, why not build a new VM, install SQL 2019, restored DB, setup the corresponding application that uses the DB to test.

While understand your test, commonly it should be in a similar environment.
Presumably your existing is on Windows server OS, the test is on a desktop OS.

Thanks, Arnold.
I was thinking of doing the new VM with SQL 2019 on it and doing as you stated.
However, I wanted to test out the upgrade.
And you are correct.
Testing on the Desktop is going to differ significantly from the VM Server.

Thank you.
I will leave this open for Monday. And see if there are any suggestions on the error.
And then close it out.

It errored on a dependency..
Check the server for SQL related installed components

I, especially, in an SQL server find the inplace upgrade to be risky since it provides no way back if ....it further does not provide for testing, ...

The dependency, full text, SQL client connect and engine ......

The other issue, time has passed, the current resources might be getting closer to an upgrade cycle, ....
