Bitlocker windows 10 pro installation help

I am trying to install Bitlocker on a Windows 10 pro laptop.  My laptop has the TPM chip.  After windows encrypts hard drive and I reboot it goes no further in configuration.  I am not prompted to provide a  password to decrypt and allow me access...  I just get my normal windows 10 domain login screen.

I was never prompted for USB or to provide a password.

I think password can be added to other drive not to drive C, because system need to access the C drive during the boot and it use the key which is stored in your TPM.

If i dont use a startup pin,  am I correct in saying that the TPM CHIP has a embedded PIN and if hard drive was removed from this computer and accessed from another computer it would be a encrypted drive and access denied?

Yes, because the key stored on your TPM and it will be missed on other computer.

Preboot authentication is advisable if you have want best security.
