How far down a long web page does Google crawl?
I've heard that Google will stop crawling down a page after so many lines, or after a certain amount of load time.
I've inherited an Ecommerce site where the H1 & H2 tags are way down at line #4500 or so (Based on a Chrome View-Source and copy the code into an Editor).
I am worried that Google may index/rank the page, but only up to (for example) line 3000.
- Does anyone know what the approx guidelines are for this?
- Is there any way to check this on a page that has been indexed and ranked already?
