Do you get a (different) GridView to start with? If so, then you're using PowerShell 5.x or earlier.
This module is for PowerShell Core only (that is, version 6 and later), and requires PS 6.2 or later.
What's the output of
$PSVersionTable

The bad news is that PS 6.0 does not support all functions that PS 5 does, as it's a cross-platform implementation.
The good news is that you can install PS 6 side by side, it does not interfere with the earlier versions.
PowerShell for every system!

Not to be too blunt, but should we just assume you haven't made any mistakes, that you're using an environment where this module applies, etc.?

Please include more detail about the environment you're running in (OS, PS version, how you started the session, etc.).  This really applies to any question, and you've asked plenty here to get the hang of it.  It's always best to volunteer info without being asked!  Of course, it's normal not to always know what information is relevant, but that shouldn't stop you from trying.
