How to password protect a specific folder on a USB thumb drive
How can I password protect a specific folder on a usb thumbdrive? Not the whole drive just a specific folder?

Thanks but this USB thumb drive doesn't support security, is there a specific brand, or a way of formatting that password protecting a specific folder would be possible?

It should still work, give it a try
You might want to use a new (dummy) folder with a couple of text files to test
One thing to check... If the drive's properties > General > File system doesn't show NTFS, it first needs to be formatted it as NTFS.
needs to be formatted it as NTFS
@NVIT
Nice catch
IMO you can't password encrypt a folder on a usb drive. What you can do is encrypt a compressed file that has the files you want to protect using 7-zip, WinRAR, WinZip
UserA who might exist on your system likely will not exist, on any other system where this USB int be attached, the user if they have admin rights can view the contents.
You either need a USB that gas builtin ever its/encryption that would be neeed to decrypt to access
The compress/zip with a password .....the issue you have to take into account is whether the person who will try to access the tile might have to have software installed to unpack, provide the password.
