Short cut to copy a large range in a single column as opposed to choosing column then scrolling to end of data and then shift to select

I have 2 seperate worksheets. I choose the range from one column to paste into another blank worksheet for analysis and to create a table. IS there an easier way then choosing the top of the column and having to scroll down to the end of my records? There are 1,000 records in some and more in others. I dont want the whole column as I am chosing a range and creating a table in my new worksheet.

Use Ctrl/Shift/Down to select all the rows in the column.

In this workbook select the column (or the first cell in the column) and press Ctrl+Shift+C. Then select any cell in the destination column and press Ctrl+Shift+P.

When I hit control shift c I get a bling on my speaker. Wont let me use this feature. Did I need to create a macro for this? I am not sure why I cant use this function. I tried on several sheets except the one you sent -- that one works Thanks Martin

If it is all of the data in the column, ie whole column but not the blanks at the bottom:

Go to row 1 of the column and press Ctrl + Space, this selects the whole column. Now press and hold shift and press end and then up arrow, this moves the selection to just the data in that column.

In case you need to know, the equivalent for rows is Shift + Space for the whole row. You should be able to use just Shift and Ctrl then End for rows.
