Upgrading to Windows 10 Pro failed without Properly reverting to Windows 7. What Now?

In upgrading one of our workstations to Windows 10 Pro, the upgrade failed and did not properly revert and restore Windows 7. Because of some of the programs installed, I am looking for a suggest as to restore the operating system without loosing the existing programs and data.

I am able to boot up from the Windows 7 repair disk.

How you upgraded windows 10?

You may try this link and download the update assistant. You may also burn to 8GB USB drive during this process and use this to update windows 10.

any screens or messages to show?  post picture plse
what hardware was the Win7 running on?  pc, + disk model   + free space on disk + installed ram

TRY BOOTING IN SAFE MODE - use F8 key during bootup
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.

when booting from repair disk, try to use "System restore"
from "System recovery Options"
