You can either post your actual IMAP host name or do testing yourself.

# First determine if there's an IMAP server running on the IP, using ssh on your server, then...
lxd: net16-mailstore # netstat -plute | grep imap
tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:imaps           0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      root       98334      215/dovecot
tcp6       0      0 [::]:imaps              [::]:*                  LISTEN      root       98335      215/dovecot

# Next, see if you can access the IMAP server from your local machine...
imac> sudo nmap -F mailstore.davidfavor.com | grep imap
993/tcp open     imaps

# If problems persist, you'll access your IMAP server logs for exact problem with connection.

If all this seems overly complex, post your IMAP server host name for testing.

Issue is only currently with eM Client. Everything was fine before this. I do not know what is wrong with the logon account.

Nothing has been change in Imap, SMTP.

Check whether you can connect to port 143 or 993.
The error is insufficient all it says connection failed. The suggestion is to check the settings to confirm the connection that is setup matches the services provided as illustrated in David's post.
Possible, this client is configured for unencrypted (port 143) access while a change on the server requires SSL connection to IMAPs port 993.
