I am trying to create shared datastore. when I get to this step shown below, I will have to select ESX host in order to have the openfiler show up.<br />
is this normal behaviour ?<br />

I went ahead and Selected ESX1 and proceeded with Datastore creation. After then I found out that both ESX hosts can see the new Shared Datastore

I have Shared Datastore that looks like it is visble to ESX hosts:





When I try to create new VM, I do not see the option to install it on the Shared Storage:
