Unless you changed a setting in Exchange, by default that disabled mailbox will be purged after 30 days. I wouldn't even worry about it, especially since it was empty and you have no email to restore.<br />

My question for you is what kind of change in AD made you want to disable the mailbox?

If you recreate autocomplete from internal users will bounced.<br />
Otherwise you have to convert the the value and add as X500 address in mailbox.

There was nothing to delete. It was a new user and mailbox. No one had used it yet. Mal seems to be working now. Thanks for all the assistance.

I tried running the clean command to update the databases to show the disabled mailbox in the EMC under disconnected mailboxes but nothing seems to work. I had to make a change to the AD User account so I figured I would disable the mailbox till I made the change.
