How to mount datastore with missing extent?
Or possibly create a dummy extent in order to mount datastore.
One of two LUNs within a datastore was possibly deleted thus offlined the datastore. I need unmount and remount in order to recovery what's left by either creating a dummy extent or some other method.

I think it was the head because that's what would cause the datastore to become inaccessible from what I read in your other post. If the datastore stayed online then I'm assuming it wasn't the head.
Do you have any documentation on this? It's my datacenter so I really don't need to purchase a support contract to have someone fly half way across the world to troubleshoot this.

Ah I found the volume containing the LUN was offline thus removing the LUN from view in NetApp. It's back online now but has other issues attaching to an OS but I'll make another post.
Thanks

You may be able to hex edit the LUN, and manipulate the VMFS header file, but this requires on-site support to perform this level of recovery.
