you can have multiple start and exit points. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Control-flow_diagram.. it does make the diagram messy though. I would break things into subroutines so that each graph has only one start and exit point.

Literally: Nothing.

Cause a control flow graph is just a description of what happens from a start point on, when the steps in the graph are "executed".

When looking at the boundaries from within, you cannot know where the control flow will start, thus you maybe not able to tell what stop node is reached.
