I only have only one site system server here at the main office but I have several branch offices where I'm making a Distribution Point server at each. When creating a boundary group for a DP, I am confused by the Reference tab. I check the box that says "use this boundary group for site assignment" but at the bottom where it says to add a Site System Server, do I add the Site System server at the main office or do I add the DP server?
Thank you. If we are using the same DP server from an older SCCM server, should I rename the SCCMContentLib on the DP? Or will the new SCCM server overwrite the SCCMContentLib directory?

Two separate sites?
Remove the DP from the old site (and let it uninstall the role which should remove all SCCM directories) before adding the DP to the new site
We have one Site server which we are replacing with a new and starting from scratch. All the DP servers at our branch offices will remain the same but the DP's have old content from the Site server we are placing such as the SCCMContentLib directory.
