I have my Visual Studio website project code on github. In order to display it in the browser (or to improve dev code) I pull it to my computer first. <br />
Is it possible to test code on git server and avoid this step of getting it on my machine. Something similar to Office 365 when you can work on the same document on the cloud server without having it on your computer?

Version control, also known as revision control or source control, is the management of changes to documents, computer programs, large web sites, and other collections of information. Git was initially designed and developed for Linux kernel development. As with most other distributed version control systems, every Git working directory is a full-fledged repository with complete history and full version-tracking capabilities, independent of network access or a central server.
